kids cocktails

Toast to the New Year with some delicious non-alcoholic cocktails your kids will love. All you’ll need is some juice, syrup and fruit to decorate, maybe also cocktail umbrellas. For the sugar rim, I asked my niece to moisten the rim with a lemon slice and then had her dip it into the sugar.

Triple Tropico

For the cocktail below you’ll need a glass with sugar rim that your kids prepared. Then pour some ice tea into the glass, carefully add banana juice by tilting the glass and give it the finishing touch with some raspberry syrup  and a lemon slice (or some other decorations you find in your fruit basket).

Strawnana Sip

Taste the simple delight of strawberry and banana. First pour banana juice (3/4) into a cocktail glass, then slowly fill it up with strawberry juice (1/4). Add a slice of kiwi for the right mix of colors and enjoy the fruity sensation with your kids.

Golden Sunrise

Even if you are not celebrating until the sun is up again, here is a yummy little sunrise in a cocktail glass. To get the great color gradient, pour orange juice into a glass with sugar rim, then slowly and very carefully add some raspberry syrup. I chose to decorate the cocktail with a physalis as the golden sun.

Cheers to everyone and a very happy New Year!
