2019 Halloween Events Malta

These last couple of years Halloween has grown in popularity in Malta and with it came the organization of events and parties.  These activities are normally held on the 31st October and during the mid-term break, that is 1st and 2nd November.  Here are some of the activities happening during the mid-term holidays:

1. Valletta Waterfront

The Valletta Waterfront overlooks the most successful Mediterranean ports.  With this magnificant setting during Halloween you can enjoy some quality time with your little ones.  So head along for spooky fun at the Valletta Waterfront.  Your children will have the opportunity to go trick or treating, roam the children’s animation and all this as the Waterfront is set up with spooky decor.  At the Valletta Waterfront you can also enjoy lunch or dinner at the many restaurants.

All the activities are free and since these are held outside it depends on the weather conditions.  Halloween activities will be held as follows:

Saturday 26th October 2019 – 700pm onwards;

Sunday 27th October 2019 – 1230pm onwards

Thursday 31st October 2019 – 700pm onwards.

2. Halloween Kids Party in Attard

The village of Attard is situated in the central region of Malta between Mdina and Valletta.  The SocMuz La Stella Levantina will be organising a Halloween kids party on 31st October 2019 starting at 1730hrs.

The event will start at 1730hrs with Trick or Treat around the streets of Attard.  Aferwards a kids party will be held at the SocMuz La Stella Levantina permises at 44 Triq il-Kbira Attard .  There will be entertainment, face painting, games and finger food.   There is a fee but a donation of Eur10 for the children to participate.

3. Pembroke Local Council

Situated in the eastern part of Malta, Pembroke is surrounded by St. Julian’s, Bahar ic-Caghaq and Swieqi.  Pembroke is mostly a residential area, with the majority being young families.

This Halloween activity for kids, is not just a fun activity but also a fund raising one.  The proceeds collected will go towards Puttinu Cares.

Free parking is being provided at the Pembroke park & ride.  The Halloween activities will be concentrated in San Gorg Preca Street with live entertainment, food stalls and free candy for the children.

4. Halloween Kids Club - Malta International Airport

This year, Halloween activities have also landed at the Malta International Airport.  Cobwebs and spiders hung from the ceiling, and skeletons will be taking over the Food court, and they need help with keeping the food court clear from monsters, spiders and cobwebs.

Your kids are invited between Thursday 31st October and Sunday 3rd November, where they can feed the monsters, pin the Bow on Mr Bones and dance the Skeleton Dance.

The kids will have the opportunity to go round the outlets, as a reward for their bravery, fill their free Halloween baskets with some sweet treats.  They can also meet Pumpkin King of Halloween Town himself and Jack Skelington.

The kids club will start at 630pm on the 31st October.  The activities will run between 1200pm and 23pm from the 1st to the 3rd November.

You are requested to pre-book for the trick or treat sessions.  Eur5 tickets will be released some, so make sure to check out the Malta International Airport facebook page.  Don’t forget that eating at the food court entitles you to free parking.

5. The Boo Factor - L' Arka ta` Noe Siggiewi

L’Arka ta’ Noe in Siggiewi is the largest animal attraction on the Maltese islands.  This park is the hard work of Mr Anton Cutajar and his team.  At L’Arka ta` Noe the priority is the welfare of the animals which are considered as family members.  However, at L’Arka ta` Noe take take the necessary steps to ensure the safety of their guests.

L’Arka ta` Noe have teamed up with Afterglow events and will be hosting two parties for you and your little ones.  You can log onto their facebook page to book your ticket.  Ticket will include the following:

  • Entrance to the Animal park for one child;
  • One complimentary adult entrance with each paying child;
  • Trick or treating in the animal park;
  • Kid meal and drink;
  • Entrance to the Halloween Panto hosted by Afterglow;
  • Use of jumping castle (weather permitting) and
  • Face painting.

 

6. Playmobil Halloween Party

The Playmobil popular Halloween party will be held on the 30th and 31st October 2019 from 600pm to 830pm.  This year’s theme is all about Magical Mystery.

Make sure your little ones dress up for this party.  The children’s ticket include:

  • 2 adult free entrance;
  • Mystery show by the witches & pumpkins;
  • Magical show by Daniel Raven magic;
  • Wand craft and activities;
  • Kids meal;
  • Raffle;
  • Playmobil Trick or Treat bag;
  • 10% discount on all playmobil products at the FunPark shop to be redeemed same day;
  • 10% discount from the Cafeteria

A costume Judging contest will also be held for the Best Dressed Boy, Best Dressed Girl and Best Dressed Adult.
