Today we found a funny experiment to try with your kids that will have your house sounding like a barn yard.
Take a plastic cup and poke a hole in the top with something sharp. A sturdy plastic cup will give you a better grip later. Tie a piece of yarn to a paper clip and thread it through the hole. Then take a wet paper towel and give the yarn a yank.
Sounds like a chicken bok-ing! The experiment is to show your kids the difference of sound reverberating through the cup makes rather than just pulling on a piece of yarn.
So, now go try it for yourself! Maybe you can even find a cow mooing or a sheep baaing to get the full barn yard effect!
