Need a little magic to brighten your kids' day? How about a little slight of hand?
This trick is great for adults to show children but also then for the kids to try it themselves. It's very simple once you know what's happening behind the scenes.
Tape a toothpick to the back of you thumb above the joint so it still has some movability. Make sure it's parallel to your thumb as this is key later on.
Arrange your hands so it looks like you are holding the toothpick in your fist. Then with some creative abracadabras, hide you fist with the other hand.
Open both hands at the same time, keeping the back of your thumb toward you and showing your audience that the toothpick is nowhere to be found.
It might take a few tries in the mirror before you have your technique down but then your kids will be wowing the crowds!
