Those tiny hands and cute little feet are growing every day, don’t you wish you could keep them just as they are? 🙂

Baby Art offers inspiring products and gift ideas for first-time parents, grandparents or godparents that create beautiful memories of your little ones.

I gave the foot and hand prints in clay a try with my 1 month old son. I didn’t need any further materials and it didn’t take us long to get the prints.

Following the instructions, I put the bag of clay in hot water until it was soft, and then put it into the frame.

The tricky part starts when the tiny VIP’s foot or hand has to be placed on the clay. With patience and a nice soothing song I tried to relax him and keep him from forming a fist. We eventually managed to complete our little crafting project and I am quite satisfied with the result. Of course, I washed his foot and hand carefully afterwards.

The drying process can take up to three days – maybe I’ll also paint it later on.

It’ll be nice to be able to show him later just how small his hands used to be.
