Snowmen Sensory Bottle For Kids

When the weather is too cold, it’s great to have some winter themed fun activities up your sleeve.  Coming up with sensory activities, will help your child make use of all their senses.

Among the many benefits of sensory play, it helps build nerve connections within the developing brain’s neural pathways.  This triggers a child’s inclination for and ability in completing more complex learning tasks.

Sensory play also helps support language development, cognitive growth, fine motor skills, problem solving skills and social interaction.

The sensory activities can sometimes be messy but are extremely engaging, offer lots of fun and are easy to put together.

This is how you can make a Snowman Sensory Bottle:

Start by pouring clear glue in a clear bottle.  Add water until the bottle is completely full.  Add glitter and snowflake confetti.  Close the bottle and seal with some hot glue to avoid any leakages. Mix well.

Now you can ask your children to help out with decorating the bottles.  With a black marker ask them to draw circles for buttons and small dots to make mouth.  With an orange marker let them draw the snowman’s face.

Take a small piece of ribbon and put it round the bottle to make a scarf and attach with some hot glue.  Attach googly eyes and there you have a Snowman sensory bottle.

You can use as many different clear bottles as you wish.

Enjoy!
