It's summer time and this hot weather can have your kids begging after the ice cream truck. Even parents may want to overindulge when it comes to a refreshingly cool snack day after day.

We thought it might be a good idea to try to keep it a little healthy while still satisfying that sweet tooth. So we've been looking up yummy alternatives to ice cream that your kids will love!

Here's a few we found and are dying to try!

banana-icecream1. Banana Cream

Blend up a frozen banana and whatever else you think would taste good in ice cream. Frozen strawberries, peanut butter, cocoa powder, pineapple, whatever. Top with nuts or granola and enjoy. This is great because there's no extra dairy, sugars or additives. You get what you get and nothing else. Yum!

Raspberry-Pineapple-Chia-Popsicle2. Raspberry- Pineapple pops

Blend 1 c. frozen raspberries, 1 c. frozen pineapple, 1/3 c chia seeds, 1/2 c. orange juice and 1/4 c. water. Freeze in ice pop molds for 2 hours.

3-Ingredient-Coconut-Mango-Ice-Cream3.  Coconut-Mango ice cream.

Blend 1 c. Coconut milk, 3 c. frozen, diced mangos and 3 T. honey. Ready to eat!

4. Watermelon Strawberry pops

Blend 4 cups of cubed  watermelon, 12  mint leaves and 6 strawberries. Pour into ice pop molds leaving room to add whole or halves strawberries for texture. Freeze. Eat!

3-Ingredient-Blueberry-Greek-Yogurt-Popsicles5. Blueberry Yogurt pop

Blend 2 c. blueberries. Mix in 2 T. honey.  Gently mix in 2 c. Greek Yogurt. Pour in popsicle molds and freeze.

Beat the heat and eat a treat! We bet your kids will love them just as much and maybe more than ice-cream!
